Admission Policy

Walden’s Path School Admission Policy

Applicants will be eligible for admission to Walden’s Path School based on:

  • The potential of the applicant to benefit from the education available
  • The capacity of the school to meet the needs of the student
  • The extent to which the student’s admission will enable Walden’s Path School to maintain its diversity

At Walden’s Path School we are committed to maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio and a rate of growth that ensures a stable learning environment for our students.

The language of Instruction- English

The school accepts students with no previous experience with English in Grade I. For higher grades, students must demonstrate increasing levels of language proficiency and are assessed in the English language prior to admission.

Admissions are rolling and we will only consider applications from students planning to stay for a minimum of 3 – 4 years.

Placement

Students are placed based on their learning ability. Adjustments to placement can be made according to previous school experience or depend on the level of academic ability combined with emotional and social maturity.

We encourage all prospective parents to visit the school with a prior appointment.

Leaving the school

Students planning to leave Walden’s Path School must give one month’s notice. This also applies to students leaving at the end of a school year.

Fee refund

The school fee is not refundable.

*Policy has been approved by Walden’s Path School on 1st June 2022 and will be revisited annually.
